Wednesday Night Adult Bible Studies
Due to our delayed start back in October, we will be continuing and completing the Fall Bible studies on February 9. These studies are as follows:

Old Testament Study: The Message of the Prophets- Led by Mark Freeze at 6:00pm in Bobo Hall.

Walking Through the Psalms– Led by Tommy Cox at 6:00pm in the Craft Room.

We will begin a new Adult Bible Study on Wednesday, February 16! In this 10-week study, we will explore Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae. Peace, provision, and forgiveness are basic human needs; yet, who can we truly rely upon to deliver these? In his letter to the Colossians, Paul shows how these can never come to us through political, philosophical, or religious systems. They only come through Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God. Tommy Cox will lead this study at 6:00pm in the Craft Room.

Beginning Wednesday, March 2, we will continue our Old Testament sessions with A Study of the Life of King David. This 5-week study will journey through portions of 1st and 2nd Samuel and 1st Kings to explore the life of David as king. Mark Freeze will lead this study at 6:00pm in Bobo Hall. (Session dates are March 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30).

Our Winter/Spring Sunday Night Adult Study meets at 6:00pm in Bobo Hall. We will be reading Love Does: Discover a Secretly Incredible Life in an Ordinary World. In this book, Bob Goff shares remarkable stories from his life and shows how living and loving to the fullest is the best way to make Jesus known in this world. Cost of the book is $10. David Hull, Philip Dean, David Corley, and John Topping will lead this study in Bobo Hall.

Attention Men! Our Men’s Groups meet each week on Tuesday mornings at 7:00am and Sunday evenings at 6:00pm. Each of these groups meet in Classroom A (FLC/Gym area), and we are continuing our study of Hebrews. It is never too late to get involved in one of our Men’s Groups! If you would like more information, please contact Tommy Cox in the church office or at tommy@fbclaurens.org.
