Preschoolers are a unique and wonderful gift from God, and we believe that they are an integral part of our church family. Our preschool ministry seeks to nurture the growth of preschoolers and offer love and support to their families during these important years.
We desire to provide children with a loving and caring environment so they can learn of God, the wonderful world God created, and God’s love for them. Our mission is to share the message of God’s love, and through this message develop in children a young faith that can grow in the knowledge of God and God’s special plans for each life.
We strive to provide many opportunities throughout the year for children to learn, serve, and experience worship, as well as special activities for preschoolers and Kindergarten students that create an atmosphere of fun and learning with friends. Baby Dedication
Baby dedication is a special part of worship at First Baptist. We take seriously our responsibility to love and care for children, as well as to support and encourage parents in the ministry of parenting. Weekly Programs
Sunday School, Kids on Missions, and Preschool Choir
In the fall and spring, each Wednesday, from 6:00 – 7:00pm, we offer Preschool Kids on Missions and Preschool Choir for children who are 2 to 5 years old. Our 2 & 3 year olds group together and are in one activity while the 4 & 5 year olds are in another. At 6:30pm, we flip our groups in order to provide age appropriate times of learning and singing. Our Wednesday evening classes meet on the 2nd floor, preschool hall.
Nursery is offered for children under 2, whose parent is leading in a class or attending an adult Bible Study.
