We understand that visiting a new church can feel overwhelming. Whether it's finding your way around, meeting new people, or adjusting to a new environment, it’s completely normal to feel a bit uncertain at first. To help, you will find the answers to a few commonly asked questions below.

Commonly Asked Questions

  • How should I dress?

    People dress in a variety of ways at First Baptist Church. Some come in very dressy attire and others are very casual. There is no dress code and you are welcome in what is comfortable to you. 

  • Where should I park?

    Our largest parking lot is located across from our campus on Sitgreaves Street. You may also park in the gravel lot across from FBCL on West Main Street.

  • Where do I go when I arrive?

    First time guests are encouraged to enter through our Rotunda doors which face Sitgreaves Street. Look for the entrance between the two welcome signs. Here  you'll find folks eager to help you. Additionally, we have greeters stationed at each entrance on Sunday mornings. They will be glad to help you or your family get to where you need to go on our campus. 

  • Do you provide childcare?

    During 10:30 Worship:

    Infant - Age 3

    Childcare, located on the 2nd Floor of the Powers Building, is provided during our Sunday Worship Service for children up to Age 3. 

    Ages 4 - 5

    Pre-schoolers Age 4 & 5 are invited to leave the sanctuary mid-way through the service for Extended Session, where we offer age appropriate care and activities.
