The Student Ministry at FBC exists to connect students to Christ, the church, and their communities. Our hope is to see the students of Laurens grow in their faith, claim it as their own, and put it into practice through service to the church and others. Through worship, discipleship, and missions we seek to help students find their place in the story of God’s redemptive work in the world and find where they can be a part of making the Kingdom of God known on Earth.

Sunday Morning Activities

    Students meet in age-specific small groups for a time of Bible study, fellowship and prayer. The focus of this time is reminding students of the stories of faith that they learned as children and helping them see the relevance of those stories to their lives and how scripture can be applied to modern situations.

    Our youth choir is a vibrant and exciting group of sixth through twelfth graders. Students have the opportunity to learn contemporary music, traditional music, as well as some classical music to which they would ordinarily not have been exposed.
